The owners of a late-1940s ranch house in central Austin wanted to add a master suite and enclose a patio to create a new breakfast room. The new bedroom area was added in a wing extending into the backyard and includes a walk-in closet and bathroom. A large bay window connects the breakfast room to the shady backyard while a skylight adds natural light in the kitchen.
